Nestled in the majestic landscape of Geiranger, the family owned Djupvasshytta Hotel is both a familiar destination and an unexpected delight. Djupvasshytta, 1030 meters above sea level, is the perfect getaway for those who appreciate a peaceful moment in magnificent scenery. With the nearly 200 meters deep Djupvatn Lake, the Blåfjell Glacier and Mount Dalsnibba in its nearest proximity, you find yourself closer to nature than one might even be allowed to dream about.

The hotel, situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Area of Geiranger (17 kilometers from the city centre), has been hosted by the Møll family since 1966, now represented by 2’nd generation. In 2011 the hotel refurbished all guest rooms, which allows our guests to enjoy modern standard in a relaxed ambience. True to our traditions, you will not be disturbed by TV, internet or other outside interference. Lower your shoulders and leave the tension behind!
